John has a background in project management and recruitment. He managed among other things a £3 million project funded by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, helping to develop the private banking and financial services sector skills in Russia and Ukraine. He was also head of the British Council's global recruitment programme for technical specialists. He has worked at ministerial level in a number of countries including Russia, Poland, Romania, Yemen and Saudi Arabia.

Having studied law, John has been a practising solicitor for over 10 years and specialises in employment law. He has considerable experience in representing both employers and employees at the Employment Tribunal.

John is highly regarded for his easy manner with clients while at the same time providing practical and effective legal advice. His wealth of experience means that he is an ideal ally when dealing with issues in the workplace in a friendly, sensible and constructive way.

In his spare time John sails around the North Wales coast and makes (mostly!) sweet music on his guitar.
